Michelle Doughty

Michelle Doughty is a postdoctoral researcher at TERA. In this role, she works to advance TERA’s research agenda by researching educator development, school finance, and educator labor markets in Tennessee. Michelle is a former teacher who recently completed her Ph.D. in Research and Evaluation Methodology in the School of Education at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her work focuses on teacher leadership, development, and labor, with the goal of improving the working conditions of educators and supporting equitable access to high quality teachers for students.
